Damnit, I just had pancakes for breakfast!  I'm the worst half-Brit ever :/

No coffee?  I'm out.  I can do the crumpets and tea (always have Assam or Earl Grey in the afternoon), but I love coffee too much.  My Brit grandmother did nothing to break that one of me. XD

I had waffles for breakfast.  But they weren't very good. :P  My husband is the tea drinker in the family.  He's a bit of a snob about it too.  He only uses loose leaf and only makes one cup at a time.  His favorite is Earl Grey, but he's not even a little bit English. :)

Just for the fact it is PG Tips you have proved your English-ness :)

Even though I'm only half-British, can I be part of the UK club here!?  I promise I won't bring y'all down!  Oops, I totally said y'all....crap.

You can... but you have to drink tea and eat crumpets with us. No coffee or waffles, pancakes or bagels are allowed! :D

oh no, I'm a Brit and I only drink coffee, no tea in this house!!   :o

Hi all!
I'm a YA Fantasy author with my debut novel, Zirconya: The Sage of Aluh'Nehn, coming out in June.(it's a contemporary fantasy though it's also been called high fantasy) Is this site mainly for adult fantasy or anything? Just so I know before I run around making a fool of myself :) I'm good at that.

I found this site through Twitter and see Kevin Breaux is here already! Read Soul Born! I'm not finished with it yet but he has got some mad writing skills. It's adult epic/dark fantasy, fyi.

Glad to have found you all and again, if YA doesn't belong, tell me now before...well...just tell me.

Hi, I'm Hatsepshut! I live in Oslo, Norway, and as many others found Fantasy Faction through Twitter. I try to assemble a list there with Fantasy-related stuff, and Fantasy Faction was a great addition, of course.

My first fantasy experience was LotR when I was 15. I was lost to the world for 1500 pages - a long time and many fantasy novels ago.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could set up a realtime chat somewhere? I am sure that there are services (free and pay, if I had to guess) that would accommodate this. Then we could have theme centered discussions around the subjects that we all like.

Just a thought
