Well, @JCkang I'd say you're in the right place. Welcome. There's a core group of Tolkien fanatics here, myself and Jmack being among the most outspoken ones. Look forward to hearing more from you. What do you write? We have a wonderful monthly short story club you might try (maybe you did? I never can retain who wrote what). Anyway, I am sure you'll enjoy your time here. Some very sharp people here with deep, diverse knowledge in the unreal. And me. :)

Thanks for the welcome!  I confess, I haven't read anything by Tolkien in 30 years.  It doesn't ever keep me from getting into a heated discussion about whether Westeros or Middle Earth is better developed, or rant about how the Hobbit somehow managed to become three feature films.

I'm writing Epic Fantasy/Sword and Sorcery, with a melange of classic fantasy beings and several historical earth cultures (each with a different type of magic), told through novels, short stories, and graphic novellas.

Hi, I'm new !

Greetings from France. I've been wandering through the forum and the website, found them quite interesting and here I am, saying hello.

Well, what else to say... Maybe it's gonna be a shock for everyone, but I love fantasy and SF and fantastic. Been a writer too (but only in French for the moment).

And that's it for the moment. Good day to you.

Hey. I'm James from near Birmingham, United Kingdom. I love reading. Mainly fantasy but I enjoy horror, sci- fi, thrillers, epics and historical non-fiction also. I have a blog, write for www.fantasybookreview.co.uk and spend far too much time chatting about books on Goodreads. I am glad to be a part of this community and look forward to discussing all things fantasy. I hope everyone is well. :) x

No Eclipse. I think it is just me, you and my Malazan loving friend Rory who lives down the road. :)
Nice to meet you. Oldbury isn't too far. I used to work there. I am actually from Stourbridge myself. Do you know many fellow fantasy books reading addicts in your "neck of the woods"?
