I see I wasn't able to hide my nationality too well to hide it from you.
It's in your profile ;D

I always do that because I want to know something about a person I've just met. :P

Hello Zanmato and welcome. This is a fun forum and always good when new fantasy readers and writers to join. Look around and join in with our chatting. :)

Sometimes people come through the door and sometimes they just appear among us. Hi Arhix, even though you're part of the furniture now. ;D

It's funny how different countries use different expressions for the same idea!

So in this case of people being really familiar:
The English say "he is part of the furniture"
In Portugal we say "he is from our home"
What about Poland?

I usually meet with the terms like "our compatriot" or "our fellow countryman". I think these are used most often in this case, although we use just one word for it - "rodak". :P

I thought it was because @ArhiX real world life as a settee had been fully established. Unless that was "divan".  I'm a little fuzzy on all the variations of sofa.  ;)

Hi everybody!

I discovered Fantasy Faction a little over three years ago and have since been on here EVERY DAY reading all the fantastic articles and forum topics. I figure it's about time I got off the sidelines and into the game!

I'm a fan of the usual suspects(Sanderson, Rothfuss, Weeks, Abercrombie, Brett, etc) and grew up on a healthy dose of Tolkien & Terry Brooks.

Thanks to everyone who unknowingly gave me many book recommendations, laughs and saved me hours of boredom(you don't know who you are ;)).

Oh my gosh, you must be the most self-controlled lurker EVER ;D
How on earth could you have been reading stuff without ever feeling the temptation to reply, hehe?

Anyway, welcome, hurrah, another one for the ranks! :D
We don't need to tell you what to do, you already know - and you probably already know us and all ;)
