Welcome Tabitha!  It's great to have another person from the States join the group. :) It gets kind of lonely on here after all the Brits head to bed. ;)

Welcome Marc!  Sounds like a really cool story you've got going. :)  Don't think I've ever read a story with werewolves and a lunar colony. :D
I'm very sure you haven't, so I do hope you'll read mine. Werewolves are usually paranormal, but most paranormals are earthbound, even the futuristic ones. A SF story on a lunar colony wouldn't have ghosts or curses in it. I invented a new genre category to describe what I've created here: Gothic SF.

Hey. Hate to be that guy.but paranormals in space is not new.George RR Martin in his pre ASOIAF short stories often mixed sci fi and horror, and have seen quite a few slightly cheap looking horror films on TV with the premise. Also cant remember the story name or writer name but the Warriors anthology had Dracula fighting off an alien invasion coming to earth. Stephen Baxter in his Destiny Children saga had immortals as well.

Werewolves on a lunar colony sounds good but I reckon someone has done it. Asked Pornokitsch. But it clearly has never been done well so good luck with it.

Hello people of fantasy! I'm infidelgkcn -infidel or Gökcan too if you want to call me like that-, and I'm from Turkey. Fantasy is the genre that I'm in love with, but I do love reading in general.. I've started creating a planet to write about, and :I have a site for it but it's not public right now.

So, nice to meet you people!

Hi all.
I'm new here, I'm a fantasy writer (unpublished as yet). My first book was a semi-finalist in this years Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone on these boards.

Nice to meet you Ixtila!  I did the Amazon contest this year, but I didn't make it past the first round. :P  Make sure you check out the Writers Corner!  We've been doing writing sprints to get eachother motivated on Twitter.  If your interested you can check it out here. :)

Hi everyone, been on the site a couple weeks. Finished a novel in horror/fantasy and have another I am working on while I have people go through the draft. The newest WiP is straight fantasy. I found this site through some friends on Twitter and I really like the community.

Hi

I'm a newbie - obviously or I guess I wouldn't be posting in this section! Found the site on twitter and I've been following blogs and twitter for a couple of weeks but now I have a minute I'm checking out the forums.

I'm a writer and hope to publish my own fantasy trilogy and more in the future but for now I'm a student and am furiously scribbling, designing and blogging my way hopefully to an MA and a career in writing.

Really impressed with the site so far and looking forward to finding out more about Fantasy Faction.

Elloise.  :)

It's a shame I can't email you all cookies.  I'm actually very good at baking real cookies as well. :)
