Oo do we have to verify our humanity by typing in the letters in the picture/the surname of the LOTR author every time we post?

Only three times, I think. It goes away after that.

More people. :o

Yora, if you're at all in need of help for writer-ly stuff, I suggest the Writer's Board. We've got some brilliant people floating around there, and even some authors pop in from time to time. As for books, if you ever need a suggestion for what to read next, the Fantasy Book Board is our biggest hub. And people love to hand out recommendations left and right.

Boo, sorry to hear about SFX. I never really delved too deeply into that forum (or magazine for that matter) but I do hope you enjoy your stay! Hope both of you do!

Hi!

I'm Alex and I'm from London. I've been lurking round here for a while reading all the great articles and have finally got around to actually registering. I love reading fantasy and have been trying (very unsuccessfully) to write some too. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Alex. Stick with the writing, you'll get there. You may want to look at the monthly writing challenge we have and try your hand at that.
I will expand your TBR pile.

Hello folks. I have already written to this thread prior (  :-[ ), but as things went, I have somewhat neglected the place. These days I want to resume my semi-regular reading, and with that, I've remembered FF as a community of some worth. So, I guess, that for me, this's "Say Hi, I'm new (... again)".

Oh right, I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and an engineering student with a taste in literature. :)

Hello fellow fantasy and Sci-Fi lovers, I'm Jon! :D

Even though I've posted on this forum before, I just recently joined 2 days ago and to be honest was looking for an introductory thread.

Hope to form some great relationships with you.   :)
