Hello all! I'm new, just joined today. Wanted to be part of a forum where I can submit my writing and see what others write too. Don't know much about the site or forum yet so tips would be appreciated. One of my favorite series is The Kingkiller Chronicles

@lostontheway, so glad you found the way to us!
Yes, go right ahead and post any short writing you want. Look in the writer’s section of the forum.
And most of all, check out our monthly contest. I’ve had a lot of fun and learned a ton writing for it.
Welcome!

I currently reside in Colorado, US but grew up in Georgia, US. It's been a nice April here so far, wish it was warmer though. Where is everyone else from and the person above me?

Harmless when I'm doing no harm  ;D
Kallor shrugged. 'I've walked this land when the T'lan Imass were but children. I've commanded armies a hundred thousand strong. I've spread the fire of my wrath across entire continents, and sat alone upon tall thrones. Do you grasp the meaning of this?'

'Yes' said Caladan Brood. 'You never learn'

@lostontheway have you checked the monthly writing contest. You can test your writing skills and vote on others attempts too.

@Bender I would love to check out the competitions! Is there one for April/ will there be one for May? Also, any tips on getting feedback on a story I'm writing? I posted it in one of the forum threads but no replies thus far...

Just checked out the April theme, thank you for the info! I'm also a little confused and hoped yall could answer a question. I'm seeing people still submitting in the March and April monthly writing contest though the contest is over? Can I still submit for April or should I wait a few days for May to be announced. Thank you guys again for being so welcoming   :D

Hi, it works monthly, so the submissions for April just closed. May will be coming soon, we've been a bit busy.

And what you're seeing for March is the result of the voting: we just found out the winner and we're talking about that :)
