Hi from New York! Help us with this discussion board thing?
« on: January 21, 2015, 05:54:12 AM »
Hey everyone, we are co-authors and avid fans of fantasy from New York. We particularly love Irish mythology and the ancient Irish stories - so much magic in them! We don't discriminate, though, we've enjoyed stories about witches and wizards, vampires, werewolves, fairies, and many other interesting types.

We've never really been part of a discussion board, so forgive the stupid questions, but we see all these stats on our profile. How do the levels work? Right now we are an "Adventurer." How may points do you get for activities? What is Karma, and how do you get it?

Many thanks in advance!  ;)
Lovers of literature, magic, mythology, Ireland, and the coolest advances in modern science. We are co-authors of a fantasy story that brings these things together.

Hey welcome

The mods should correct me if I'm wrong but here goes.
Level/title is based on your post count.
Karma can be given by anyone when your contribution in a post is particularly helpful. The money you accrue by activity can be spent in the shop for an additional title.

Welcome!
I wouldn't worry too much about what's what, just hop into the conversations, check out what's going on in the book club, and enjoy. :) You'll pick things up as you go.

Thank you! It's already clear that is going to be a problem, but it's a good one to have!
