An introduction
« on: May 13, 2015, 01:40:43 AM »
Greetings everyone, my name is Joseph and I'm a 20 year old International Relations student. I have always loved the fantasy and sci-fi genres. My favorite author being Neil Gaiman. I only recently discovered my love for writing around the beggining of last year. Ever since I've been writing a high fantasy book called A Goddess Reborn (I'm at 130K words) which has some influence from videogames (and some books) that have stuck with me over the years. I also have  many other ideas for other books but I'm focusing on one at a time for the moment.

I discovered fantasy-faction a few months ago while doing research and many of the articles here have been a huge help along with helping discover new books and authors. I recently looked at the forum and gathered some courage to join in hopes of learning from others who have a lot more experience in writing and in the process meet some new people.

Welcome Joseph!

You're sure to meet new people, but be sure to come and participate in the writing areas of the forum, like Jmack said, activity there is always welcome!

Thank you Lady Ty and Nora, it's very nice to feel welcomed by you!

I have some short stories that are recent and I've been thinking about getting it critiqued.

PS: I'm also terribly sorry for taking so long to reply, I've had busy week  :-[
