Hello Everyone. I'm new to the forum. I love fantasy (of course). Mostly epic fantasy and science fantasy, but other types, too. I also write fantasy, and have some short work and a novel. Working on my second novel.

Also, don't think that because you don't get a reply immediately, there are no people doing what you asked (other thread).
Time moves slower in the forum, and people pay attention to real life too ;D

Thanks. I'm here as a reader as well as a writer. I've always loved fantasy, since I was a child when I read the Narnia books so many times. I suppose Micheal Moorcock first made me want to write fantasy and many more since him.

Hello from Aus and welcome to the Forum,  @NedMarcus. ;D

Thanks. I'm in the same time zone as you (well, if you live in Western Australia!) in Taiwan.

I’m a few hours in your future, Canberra ACT, but good to have  more folk here who are awake at more or less the same time. We  have a couple more Australians here but not many of us. ;D

Hi, and I am new. I just retired from various stuff--electrical engineer with computer background.  In January I edited my 1st  scifi book I wrote in the 1980s that was never published.  It's now up on Amazon, and it's very exciting. I'm not looking to make money, it's just that I love writing.  The book is entitled "Caught in Time" and I'm Howard Berenbon.  It's about scientists in Michigan who invented a time machine that is used to take college students back to witness historical events.  However, the students think they are viewing a holographic movie.  I had fun writing it.

electrical engineer with computer background.

I recently read an introductory paper to electrical engineering to help me imagine how someone with magic could enter the mind of a computer. Gave me some good ideas, but I took a deviation from science of course  :)
