Fan service isn't fair competition!!!

You'll see that these stories are usually not that aligned with the theme, so don't get that many votes, even though they're funny ???

@Jmack I'm referring to the stories I've been write in the discussion thread, not for submission.  There was the Lanko-painting one two months ago that was too short to submit, then last month I got the length and theme right in my ebola story, but it wasn't really fantasy, this month inspiration hit before I found out about the theme.  Lanko's been writing about the adventures of fantasy anthropologist Barley Redwood so I wanted to do a Sherlanko story again this month, but a theme very appropriate to Henry just popped into my mind :)

Since I tend to write stories that involve toileting, Eclipse has written a toilet themed story about me in another thread somewhere.

Non-competition thread stories (except for Lanko's which was competition worthy):

Thou art too kind gentle sir! Yet, as an artist desperate for accolade I do bask in the praise of such a fine writer as thyself.

@Bradley Darewood, I have no opinions on cats, I always had and preferred dogs. I have no idea what's a dachsund and barely know anything about the Freemasons...

Meanwhile, I think I got an idea for a "Barley Redwood and the Call of Cthulhu" parody  ::)

Lanko, dachshunds are the best of little dogs, friendly, lazy and always hungry.  ;D

@Lady Ty Ah, I see, the name in Portuguese is vastly different, is actually the name of a food - "little sausage", more exactly.

I currently have a Pinscher with the exact color combinations of the picture you posted. He's currently 13 10 and when bought as a newborn I remember I could hold him entirely in the palm of my hand. It was quite a change, as I always had big dogs.

So there you go Bradley, you can use pinschers for your story I guess  ::)

I'm leaning towards an SF take on this one. I already have the seeds of an idea.

Maybe it could include the eldritch toilet Eclipse mentioned earlier. "Barley Redwood and the Tentacled Toilet" perhaps?

Does anyone else have a voice in their head whispering "Your eldritch artifact shall be a Christmas tree accompanied by Santa in a fantasy setting which doesn't have Christmas."

Nope.  I don't have that voice.

I've come up with an ok idea right now, including Death and his little sister fighting to save humanity.
