Bradley F. Darewood - for that edgy feeling.
Bradley Q. Darewood - if you want to appear pretentious.
Bradley T. Darewood - the more British feel.
Bradley R.R. Darewood - hey, it's worked twice!
Bradley C. Darewood - flows like the alphabet.
A. Bradley C. Darewood - the more alphabet, the better?
Bradley D. Darewood - I double dare you!
Bradley H. Darewood - so that everyone can argue about if it's 'aich' or 'haich'.
Bradley O. Darewood - Bradley O'Darewood!
Bradley R. Darewood - I are Darewood.
Bradley U. Darewood - U are Darewood!
Bradley Y. Darewood - But why?

Does that help?  ;D

Absolutely!  @ScarletBea is this good or should I drop it down a bit smaller? Edit: After some experimentation, I've noticed that the sizes aren't exact.  Eg. w=350 looks like w=400 and w=450, but w=300 drops dramatically. I think I'll stick with this super small size.

If I do BB Darewood, I could be extra country, like Bradley-Bob Darewood.

edit: I'm leaning towards G at the moment b/c it's more like OG original gangster but its BG so kinda like big.  BO would just be... not good to remind ppl of body odor.

I am sorry (well almost) to say Bradley Darewood would likely be taken as a Pseudo name in the UK anyway regardless of how many initials you add.

I once worked for a Canadian named Candy Charity and nobody believed that was her actual name.

Iain Banks wrote his lit under that name and his SCi-Fi as Iain M Banks as it is vitally important that SCI-FI writers have an initial as he was lacking a middle name the M was for his favorite whiskey.

The only published author I knew personally chose 'S' - Harry S Monesson. Truman chose the same letter so...

Why not go with something a bit more special and add a flair of good old German nobility? ;)

How about nothing? I don't get the need for it. If I were publishing under my real name and put a letter for every given names in the middle I'd end up N. A. M. B. Fuck that. I'd just use a nice pen name without middle letter. When/if it becomes relevant.  ::)

But yeah, in my eyes better be an Anne Rice or Dan Simmons than a GRRM or JKRowling.

I need a middle initial for my pseudonym.
Why?
I know some authors change initial use for different markets. It's also an American thing? I think it detracts.

Heh. I have a similar dilemma. My name is both boring and already used by another published author. But my middle name is Elsie, so it becomes L.C. very easily.

Could you extrapolate from your own in similar ways? Throw in your mother's maiden name? Go with "Brad Leigh/Lee Darewood"? "Brad Dare Wood"? :)
