I'm not expecting anything today just hope the team puts in a good performance , I go for 2-0 for Man U
I predicted 1-0, so not too different. Still worried that we'll not turn up, though since it's at Old Trafford that's usually less of an issue. Apparently we're starting with McNair in defense though...  :-\

Btw what's happening at Newcastle? could there go down very strange
No idea, crazy stuff. Just saw that their caretaker manager said in an interview that one of their players deliberately got himself sent off in that match.  :o

I saw a video of rugby a while ago. That looks like a really interesting sport to watch. Even though the stadiums look weird.

There was suspicion of that last season in American Football in one player. Don't recall which.

The interesting thing is when baseball managers get mad at the umpire and purposefully get thrown out of the game, to fire up the team, fire up the crowd, or just to flip the man in blue the bird. We had a classic manager who would turn his baseball cap around so he could get further in the ump's face withit the bill of the cap in the way. Then he'd kick dirt into the ump's shoes. He was wonderful.

Nah West Brom deserved the win... kinda. We had all the possession but couldn't make good enough chances, and when we did their keeper made a couple of really good saves.  :-\

Yeah, can't see the teams below you all getting that many points - plus I'm pretty sure several play each other. :)

Aussie Rules doesn't have a send off rule. The lower level competitions do, but not the AFL. Players get reported and then suspended at a tribunal if they're found guilty of an offence. It usually comes up at least once a year with the usual suspects wanting it, but they never act on it. I'm personally glad of it, they've mucked up the game enough by adding more and more rules over time.

And that's why football is the most popular sport in the world. Other than offside the rules are all so easy.  :D

We had a surprising win yesterday. Beat the hated enemy Collingwood. Haven't done that for about 10 years. It was a good game, I sound very croaky today and that's usually an indication that I shouted myself hoarse at the game.
