Quietly turns spell checks etc back on. Must take care with apostriphy's in future.
'..all tapes left in a car for more than a fortnight metamorphose into Best of Queen albums....they listened to William Byrd's "We Are the Champions"" and Beethoven's "I Want to Break Free". Neither were as good as Vaughan Williams "Fat-Bottomed Girls".

I'm not sure if this should be in the Politics thread or not, but...

I'm really happy that my company is flying the Pride flag throughout the month of June in all sites worldwide, showing that there's no place for discrimination and everyone is welcome :)

Pride week is all over the U.S. these days. The nice thing is that it’s now completely non-controversial.

Well, my day is off to a great start.

After lengthy shoulder injuries and other obstacles I finally broke my old bench press record. I didn't even intend to, nor did I realise I was in my top shape. I tentatively benched 100 kilos, and it was relatively easy enough that I just thought "what the hell" and took a shot at 107,5. I pulled it off. Which I think isn't half bad, considering that I only weigh about 68 kilos.  ;D

I found some calculator online that informs me I'm stronger than 79 % of male lifters of my weight.

There were about 4 or 5 churches in the pride parade today. Made me super happy to see their support. There's still so much discrimination from the church towards LGBTQ people, just breaks my heart.

Most important international event I kept checking today was this courageous adventurer Mr Raccoon and relieved to find he has finally reached the roof and hopefully been lured with goodies into a Wild Life rescue trap. What a star. ;D

That’s delightful. Quite an antidote to the usual diet of Cheetoh Head news.

Same here. Thought of our little ray of Brazilian light just yesterday.

So, JMacksson called last night from the certified kitchen where he makes his hummus. He needed to make 500 containers for his markets this week. He’s been selling more than he ever expected; things have been going great.

But...

His assistant couldn’t make it, which meant he had to stay longer and miss a date with his gal.

But worse, he grabbed the wrong measuring cup and added 2X the salt to his chickpeas. And was out of them entirely, so there was no option to just toss everything and start over.

Oh the trials of being a small business person, and woes of being a parent. Mrs. JMack spent the night worrying. We’ll find out what he did about it sometime today. He’d actually not tasted the hummus, so it might have all be in a tempest in a bean pot.
