It's pumpkin soup, Farah likes the holidays.

Why would you make soup out of fruit?  :o       Soup is supposed to be meat, cheese, meat, meat, meat, potatoes and meat.

Cheese... in soup?

Of course.    Potato cheese soup.

I second this.

You'd probably add a squirrel or two.

No, no...you use rabbits.  Squirrels are a spring animal.

What? I just saw some squirrels jumping across the treetops outside not five minutes ago.

And I saw rabbits in the spring,  your point is?

We use squirrels in the dumplings.

Ah, not a big dumpling fan.

More for me, considering the pyramid is finished.

The pyramid will never be done

You want to bet? I say there is a limit.

What pyramid?

THE pyramid.

I don't get it

Shall we bring back the pyramid?

I like the sound of that.

omfg  :o

How high can we build?

Just try and stop me!

Yeehaw!

It's not really a pyramid anymore?

Looks to me like there are some flaws in its construction  :(

It can be whatever it wants to be.

all the time trapped in the pyramid might cause fantasy faction to rotate 90  degrees and drop out of reality.

Seems legit.

Can I jump on the bandwagon?  ;D

We interrupt this obsession to bring you news from Key West, Florida where it's 75 Fahrenheit, breezy and beautiful.  Limoncello and sparkling white eine is on its way to the table, and it sounds like yellow grouper salad for lunch.

Pyramids are nice, but you can't eat one. Unless it's made of spam.  ;D 8)

Well, up here it's in the mid 50s, breezy, and honestly a little miserable. There is no limoncello, no white wine, and no happiness to be found for at least another month. Which is when allergies will kick in.

Remind me why I live in this state again? :P

Pshaww. I got low 80s F right now and it's wonderful. Little humidity. (Which means like 50%) Lots of wind, but not too much. Ecstatic that I don't have allergies. Rest of the family and friends are hating me at the moment.

Meanwhile here in the future it is a perfect early Autumn day. I was just outside, reading some course material with the kookaburras keeping me company. Oh, yes and Australia won the World Cup in cricket last night, too, so that topped everything off nicely.
I will expand your TBR pile.

Congrats on cricket, being the future and kookaburras.

At least it sounds like it's stopped snowing.

The way your weather has been there this winter, mate, it wouldn't surprise me if it snowed there, too. We're just out of tropical cyclone season up north, although I think they're still hammering Broome.

Side note - I'm working from home today...
I barely slept last night with the storm raging at my window (really strong winds and frequent heavy showers), and when I dragged myself to work, the office had flooded overnight!!!
Some of the ceiling tiles had fallen (thankfully not on top of the desks) and the floor was soaking wet. I just grabbed my laptop, cables, etc (thankfully they were not on the floor) and came back home again...

However, I *really* have to work... it's not like some people "working from home" ;)

Gosh, no wonder the Algarve is crawling with people from the UK at the moment :D For the last few days, in Tavira, we've been having 28ºC+ weather, and the beaches have been full of people.

Also, am I the only one around here who hasn't gone to Finland?  :(

Lol that sounds nice... it snowed here yesterday, and it's raining now. Slush everywhere.  :(

And yes, you are. It's clearly a huge mistake on your part.  ;)

Side note: I'm not working today.
Last night I slept like baby, with the breeze susserating in the palm gardens. (Like that word?  8) )
We had dinner on a big "party catamaran" out in the waters beyond the harbor, and watched the sun kiss the ocean.
Then drinks by the beach and a huge slice of key lime pie with 4 forks.

I loved Finland in the Summer, and even England in January.
But this'll do!  ;D

(And yes, I know, there may be an attack on my LIKES. Thank god we don't have karma, where someone could go to the Store and take me down.

Humph.  :P

I'm working right now.  8)

I can handle the bad weather, honest!  :-[ Can't wait for summer though, love going for walks down the coast and watching the sun take hours to set/rise  :)
