Earlier today I bought a 5-metre roll of bubble wrap for the sole purpose of popping the bubbles.

I have no regrets.

Well, today I went to the gym for the first time in circa two months. I took it easy, but I'm still pretty beat up. Especially since I did squats for the first time in years; I've had long-term issues with my knee that seem to have passed. I can feel my thighs petrifying.

I expect to be extremely immobile tomorrow.

Everything is still closed here. They just cleaned the pool in our apartments, but isn't open yet.

Lucky you. Gyms and swimming pools are still closed here too. Fortunately I have a treadmill at home and nowadays I regularly depended on it for my weekly exercise schedules. My university testing date had also been postponed for another month, argh.

Closed gyms here, too. About to be opened soon, tho.

Just got out of bed. I think someone broke in during the night, sawed my legs off and replaced them with peg legs.

Add in eyepatch and hook-hands and you can make a rusty pirate!

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

My order of the six books of the short story compilation I helped co-authored just arrived a few days ago. For this issue I was also the one who composed the poem on the back cover, so that's pretty damn nice I'd say.  ;D

Last day of furlough, it's back to work (still from home) tomorrow!
I'm trying to spend all time outside hehe
(I think it'll be the last sunny day in a while anyway, so I'm lucky!)

Dang, I was thinking of ordering some more books since my tbr pile had diminished somewhat. It turns out that my local online bookstore still had some stock deficiency probably attributed to covid, so they didn't have Priest of Lies, some of the other YA books I'm aiming for, nor Mort by Sir Terry Pratchett. So I guess I'm stuck with the remainders of my tbr until they resupply...  :-\

Eli, as I go back to long-sleeved jumpers, run to bring my washing inside due to the rain and shiver in the strong wind, I remember when you said there was snow in June and I thought it was too much... ::)

Half of my clothes are currently packed and in storage, including ALL my jumpers. Thankfully, I decided to keep out some of my long sleeve T-shirts out as well as my shorts. Although, my shorts do appear to sized incorrectly, as they're almost falling off me, but my jeans (same size on the label, same shop) fit perfectly!
