1000th post and it's been a pleasure. One of the best forums and best posters I've ever interacted with online! It's been brilliant.

I somehow never realized I signed up in 2015. Always thought it's been a year or two.

Edit: I'm a Auror too. Bender "Squint-Eye" Rodriguez!

I know right? I thought I signed up to this place like a year or two ago, then realized that it's more like 4 years at the very least. Times flies when you're having fun, I guess.  8)

This started like a farewell message :)

I feel the same and wrote before. I feel like I've been around since the beginning:)

One of the good things about being an adult is that you know that you don't need an excuse for cake.

And speaking of cake, today is the last day of a placement student, so there's real cake in the office ;D

The rain is a pain but as I say:

Amazing Day for Reading!

What else?  My half marathon is a week Sunday so hoping we get a break in the rain this weekend so I can do a final practise long run.  Have got up to 20K so confident now I can do it, just need to build up some speed now.  Did 10K on Mon under an hour which I was pleased with.

My fundraising for teaching in Uganda with Street Child this Summer is going really well.  But more donations always appreciated :)

Been out hiking a bit this week - yesterday was incredibly wet.  But @xiagan you'll be pleased to know Nestat came with me yesterday.

Visiting any doctors/clinic/hospitals...even thinking of them...gives me goosebumps. I just hate doing that.

Missus is pushing me for my annual dental check and I've been putting it off.

Think I'd rather fight a dragon or something.

Just think: quick check-up now or potential long and painful treatment in the future? ;D

I'm a firm believer in regular checks for everything - not to bring a downer on things, but an early check is the reason I'm alive today, after detecting my cancer early (and it was already considered stage 3) - so I advise all my friends to check everything regularly! x

Waiting on an MRI at the moment to find out what damage was done by having a car hit me in the right ankle last year.

Current thought is I have cleaved the cartilage around the ankle joint. If that is the case I would have been better off shattering the bone. The plus side is I am not in any real pain but it does ache when I get tired.

Good thing my running days are long gone though  :D
