... we change our clocks, shifting them an hour forward.
Hmm? I think you should probably double check that.  ;) ;D
Right!

Yeah, we changed Sunday too and now the kids wake up at 5 am and not at 6 am. Thanks, daylight saving.  ::) :P

I completely simpathise, as I'm waking at the old time too - then make myself stay in bed another half hour.
On the other hand, I'm also falling asleep at least half an hour earlier, what happens to your boys?

By the way, I was reading today about the anniversary of the Berlin Wall fall, it'll be already 30 years :o
Apparently there are going to be lots of events there in Berlin, I hope you manage to attend some and celebrate :)

We try to keep them awake longer so that they may one day sleep longer. Mixed success so far...

We did some interesting stuff for the 25th anniversary, like walking along where it stood with a contemporary witness, who was one of the first to walk over the Böse Bridge, where East Berliners got first access to West Berlin.
I don't think we'll have time to attend something this year, though...

Clocks fall back in Fall @JMack . The only reason that silly name for Autumn makes senses.

I ran my frst 15K today :) I felt like I could run more but didn't want to destroy my body. By the time I got home, my whole body was hurting but I was smiling :)

I'm not sure I understand this one...
Is there a race that's 131 miles?

Yup. A pun on 13.1 miles for a half marathon.

I actually wanted the t-shirt which read "Any idiot can run, but it takes a special kind of idiot to run a marathon" but finally decided it's a bit too much.  :P

Ah! I just don't think in miles, only when driving, so I was confused!
