I started running today after 3 years of no sports. It felt good until heavy rain and hail started ;D
Ooooh well done, you!
I also only run when it's good weather (no rain), hehe

So you'd run twice as often if you left Yorkshire?  :P
:P ;D
It's not actually that bad, you know...

I did four years in Leeds, you can't fool me on this!  ;)

There was one winter in particular where it felt like every evening was just non-stop horizontal rain. Best day of me life and all that malarkey.

Well, I only run once a week, so I can plan around the rain 8)

And ok, I admit it, sometimes in Winter I don't go running for a few weeks ::)

Okay, can someone point me to a free site that lets me store photos? I don't use the feature much, but every now and then I do want to show a picture online. I've been using Tinypic for several years now, but they've shut down.

When I try to use Google Photos it doesn't really share, so I created an account with Flickr just for that.

And is it similar to Tinypic? I just want some way to display photos on forums.

Sorry, I never used Tinypic, but I think so. I only use Flickr when I want to share a photo here, so I guess so.

Some alternatives to tinypic are: imgur, flickr, imageshack and photobucket

Would you recommend any over the others?

I used to use photobucket for a while, but the last time I've tried to post a photo on there onto the forums the website is laggy as hell and they're trying to charge me for uploading photos on their site now. Wouldn't really recommend it.

I only use them occasionally and don't have any preferred one. imgur always worked fine, though

I just bought a new running watch!

The one I have is 5 years old, is that considered old? Everyone I ask seems to think so ::) Anyway, it turns itself off every couple of hours and loses all my steps, doesn't charge properly and also has sync issues, so I decided to treat myself with a new one.
Funnily enough, this is a better model and it costed 50p less than the old one (I managed to get it on a sale!)

I'm also hoping it will encourage me to run a bit more often ;)

If it doesnt work you can easily justify getting something that does regardless of age. check what you have against ebay sold items it's possible yours is actually collectable now.

From a manufacturers perspective consumer electronics need to be updated as often as the market allows. At 18 months from release the product is typicaly obsolete and will have been replaced by something with different features but is probably the same product with those options turned on in firmware and different cosmetics. It is very expensive to retool so no one wants to do that while seeming to make new stuff. The now legacy product has been through a cost reduction process if it is still sold and is made from the cheapest parts that can be acquired.

So yes 5 years for a sports watch is old. The first running watch I saw was in 1991 and the first practical one was a garmin forerunner in around 2000 so long as you didn't mind running with something that could dislocate your arm. It took AAA batteries. They were about the cost of a good second hand car at the time.

Wow!
I had the Garmin forerunner 15 and now I got the Polar M430

@Eclipse, I did archery today :D
It was a hobby set, not real arrows, but it did require lots of arm strength - I wasn't that bad in accuracy, actually 8)

I had a FitBit but found I was using RunKeeper in my phone more. Prefer to carry my phone even during a run...
