 ???
I just have 2 packages of 50kg each in my landing, waiting to be assembled into a sofa-bed in the spare room...
The carpet has just been fitted, so I need to wait a couple of hours for it to set.
And then figure how to assemble it...

I assembled the living room sofa already, so it shouldn't be that different, and if I open the packages where they are and remove the parts bit by bit, they won't be so heavy.

Wish me luck!

(I can't access my bathroom! I'll need to at least move the parts tonight.... I'm glad I've got a downstairs loo now hehe)

^ am I good or am I good? ;D
Yes, opening the packages 'on location' was the best idea, I was able to remove bit by bit with no major problems (had to be careful not to fall down the stairs at some point hehe)

I'm about halfway, and I *really* love assembling ikea furniture: the process, the logic, the sequences... Like gigantic lego 8)

Ok we are officially opposites. My approach to Ikea furniture is to call a friend or neighbor to "do it with me" then act as helpless as possible so theyll take over the mental part of it

I wish I lived close to you, then! You wouldn't even have to act helpless ;)

... why do so many people complain about IKEA furniture being complicated? They come with instructions.
I'll notify your next of kin... that you sucked!

These days, I just get to say stuff like: “My cardiologist says I can’t lift anything heavier than 10 pounds. Any chance you could help me with this?”

I especially love saying that about lawn mowing. If I were buying ikea furniture, I’d say it aboutnthat, too.   ;D

Jetlag weee  :D
Brisbane is beautiful though.

Ikea isn't that hard. About the same difficulty as a lego set.
Though, personal opinion, Swedish meatballs are just rubbish guys.
