Edit: Hah. Confused Iceland with Greenland. All of this ^ is in reference to Greenland. This confusion right here is exactly how that question gets asked in Iceland. So to be fair, that one's on you guys  :P

Yes yes, it's an old observation; Greenland is icy and Iceland is green (-ish).
I'll notify your next of kin... that you sucked!

Thanks. I've been lurking, just often not enough time to type out a post.

So at the Fantasy Literature panel at Comicon, it was cool to note that ALL of the panelists were female!

Gail Carriger (The Parasol Protectorate), Robin Hobb (Assassin’s Apprentice), Seanan McGuire (October Daye), and Mary Pearson (The Remnant Chronicles)

they all had interesting stuff to say, more than the usual fluff.  I wanted to go up to Robin Hobb afterwards, but then I realized I really had no idea what to say so i just went to the bathroom instead.

Oh on another note, is it weird that even though the only interaction between this girl and I has been "OMG I LOVE PRINCESS MONONOKE. CAN I TAKE YOUR PICTURE?"  and her nodding, that I sort of want to marry this girl?

Fed a homeless man tonight. Never done anything like that before. He was thankful. Felt good.

Hahaha I see what you did there.  Poor Inkers!

No as soon as other people saw me take her picture there were like 1000 who wanted to take one too.  They were *fast* like pirañas, right away some kids are posing and some lady is trying to take their pic and so it was challenging to be like-- "no time for banter, can I take your number?" without getting in the frame, tho it woulda been a hilarious photo of some dude awkwardly hitting on a girl that's not interested while kids pose with her.

We really need the 'likes' back :'(
Sometimes there's no need for words on a reply, just a simple 'like'...

I totally agree with this.  :-\ To have the forum features return back to normal would be nice.

Her cosplay is insanely goooood!  :o so cute!

Mrs. Gem: "My car should be fine to drive 3 hours to Atlanta."
Gem: "I dunno. It's running rough, and if it breaks down I can't come get you because my car's in the shop. You should rent a car."
Mrs. Gem: "No, it'll be fine."

-  1 1/2 hours later -

Mrs. Gem: "So I'm on the side of the highway...."
