I've just packed.
A carry-on trolley with a bunch of clothes, spare pair of shoes, book, etc, and it's only half full. Great :D
I love the "rolling clothes" method of packing!

Lisa has the car packed by now. We'll take off at about 7 tomorrow morning and be on the the road for 14 hours. Lovely.  :o

Have a great time, Bea!
Thanks, you too!!!

I've tried rolling and never seem to do a good job with it.   I can't fold clothes worth a damn either which means I've gotten good at ironing when travelling.

An iron just takes space and it's heavy.
The rolling is easy, I'll show you when I get home.
Then again, this is holidays, I don't care that much for a few creases here and there ;)

All of the hotel rooms have irons so I don't have to travel with them.

Enjoy the trip!

So it seems the British Royal family are a front for Hydra. Bloody Hydra.  Get everywhere.

Dear gods, is this place still going? Have you got a better barman than in the old days?

The thread did get left for over a year once. And then someone reactivated it. Not sure if anyone remembers why it is called The King's Paws.

It may be the half bottle of wine I've just skulled, but now I really really miss the old crew.

And you named it!

Barman still sucks. And I still don't have a clue as to the naming.

Nobody listens to him while Charlie pours a gin and tonic. Jian slinks back under the bar with the cobwebs.

Since we're in a reminiscent mood, any suggestions for song?

I've just arrived from the Chocolate Museum - interesting enough, but the best were all the samples given ;D

It was actually the first time on the trip I ate Belgium chocolate - it's been hot, so been having ice-creams instead hehe
