Spent about 6 hrs queing up to get my licence renewed. Went to DMV at 7:30am, which was 30 mins before it opens and found a queue of about 50 people before me!  >:(

Eventually made it back close to 1pm. What an inefficient way to waste people's time.

However managed to that to use as solid reading time in the queue and finished Diamantine by Andrew Rowe all in one day!  ;D

With my writing career actually starting up a few, feeble starting chugs I went ahead and redid my webpage a bit. Can I ask someone to give it a look and provide a bit of feedback?

Happy to. PM me! My missus works in website building. I can get her semi-professional comments too.

Was only a question of time. 40-70% of all adults worldwide will get it in the next 1-2 years...

We've been sending requests for Business Continuation Plans to our vendors at work, which strikes me as mildly distasteful. One of them asked what ours was and we're tempted to send back a photo of the bottle of hand sanitizer by the door and the note saying "PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS". Because that's the level of planning involved.

Which considering most people at my work get here on public transport aka ideal disease incubator might be a little undersold. We have all had requests to be ready to work from home though, which I intend to use a lot once set up. But basically, yeah, I'm probably going to get it which is just cool. Apparently one of the companies in London had a scare the other day, so they sent everyone home... right onto the Jubilee line, possible germs festering away. Oops?

Positive: I went for a run today (last time was mid Jan)
Negative: I only managed 3km; it was super ultra windy; I now have a cough and wonder if I've got the virus ::)

I hate running. I'd be the first that the zombies catch! I've never been able to run with any kind of speed, and I have no stamina whatsoever!

I've woken up the last two days with a sore throat and a headache. With the media coverage, it does cross your mind whether you've managed to catch the virus of the moment. It's more likely just the normal lurgy that's going around and I've succumbed due to being a bit run down what with the stress and anxiety of waiting for our house to sell.

11 weeks, and 10 1st viewings, one second viewing (with a conditional offer - they're still waiting for an offer on theirs), and one no-show. The only positive is that the longer it takes, the more money I can save to go towards fees etc.

This weekend's Netflix binge has been season 2 of Altered Carbon, and I'll probably have a Ghibli evening with the new additions which includes 3 of my favourites: Spritied Away, Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa.

Well done, Nighteyes, that's amazing!!! :D

Cherie, if it helps, I only started running in the last 10 years, so there's still plenty of time for you, hehe (if you'd like, I mean - I'm not forcing anyone)
I hope you get well soon and good luck on the house!
