Bender, strangely similar, although straighten the corkscrews a bit more. And add beard 8)

And sorry, Peat; and Xiagan. Is it strange that if I don't like a book that people I really like and respect the opinion I feel guilty?
(Eclipse, this doesn't apply to you - don't worry, I still really like you ;))

No, it happens to me sometimes as well. It's like "I know you want me to like it, and I feel bad for letting you down".

Yes, but I've actually been mixing the current Malazan with another one I ended up bringing from the library yesterday, a "quick easy read" non-fiction ::)

Sadly i had to wrestle a motorbike through bedfordshire, oxfordshire and Gloucestershire last night and the journey in and out of work today was not much fun either.

We had a monster storm here a few days ago. Today I strolled through a walking area with a bit of a man-made forest. Circa 1/4 of the trees were either snapped in two or severely bent over.

Bright sun, blue skies and crispy weather. Lovely day here.

Work *mumble mumble* work...

Anyway, storm Ciara continues here, but at least no heavy snow or flooding in my area, just snow showers and sleet.

. . .

Do you know that feeling of having to sit on a secret that you really want to share? And it gets more and more aggravating, kicking up into turbo mode as the time to reveal it actually starts nearing?

Ugh. Excuse me. I'll just be over in the corner, counting days.
