Do you all dream or have a perfect dreamless sleep?

Last night I had a weird dream as in I was running (don't know why) but I couldn't. I was forcing myself, but legs were leaden, body was unresponsive. It took all my effort to just walk, put one foot over other. Then I realized I was dreaming, but I couldn't wake up. I was forcing myself to wake but was trapped. I was screaming....

Then when I finally work up, I was drenched in sweat. It was just mentally exhausting that I was staring at the ceiling before drifting back to sleep.

Not the first time I had this dream too..and with same experience.

What does it mean?

What's your recurring dream, if any?

That's interesting. I used to dream more before I had kids. Now all those wake ups in the nights mostly prevent me from dreaming.

But I have a recurring dream. I'm faced with death and the reason varies. Sometimes it's aliens sometimes it's humans. I always have a gun but there is no ammo. I run and run and run but cannot shot back. If only I had some ammo...

This is a very disturbing dream and I kinda have it twice a year...
Kallor shrugged. 'I've walked this land when the T'lan Imass were but children. I've commanded armies a hundred thousand strong. I've spread the fire of my wrath across entire continents, and sat alone upon tall thrones. Do you grasp the meaning of this?'

'Yes' said Caladan Brood. 'You never learn'

Several times I've had one like this, plus one for a similar reason, where I try to bang doors or slap someone and things happen really slowly, without any impact, like I'm living in jelly.
I think it's when we feel we don't have any control about what's happening in our life: we want to actively do something but we can't, we're held back by the air itself.

I hardly ever remember my dreams, so when I do, they stay with me and it's really annoying...
