Thank-you all for all the cakes.

Ended up with a multi-pack of 4 flavors of cupcakes this year as my physical cake. Mainly because I couldn't decide on what flavor I wanted.

Happy birthday, m'Lady!  :)
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

Happy Birthday @Lady_Ty:) Hope you have a great one, with lots of love and the risk of having a massive sugar rush.

My fingers are just about on the keyboard to write a birthday story, but I have to be at work early today for a 5 hour (!) presentation to 20 people (don't ask why anything is scheduled for 5 hours). So, I decided to let @LadyTy speak for herself as to why celebrating her birthday is a fantastic idea. I give you... the 2015 RPG and a particularly tasty bit of nuttiness cooked up by the birthday girl a few months ago:

(Background: Henry the Jack has just escaped from the bureaucratic agent of Atku, having gone through one of three doors. He runs back out into the hallway and chooses another... one with a delightful message in permanent cream...)

Quote
I write this here inscribed in whipped dessert topping so that any passers by can have a taste. Do not believe what is written on any door but this one. Enter here.

Henry couldn't resist the whipped dessert topping. Guilelessly believing that only good could come from such a delicious challenge and hoping there was an early birthday cake awaiting him, he eagerly bounded through the door..........

.........and found himself in a long room with laden kitchen benches in every direction. Trolls, Elves, Olympians, Mistwraiths, Dragons, and a few Frost Giants, all wearing black aprons, were slaving away over pastry boards, pressure cookers, ovens, mixers and piping bags.  At the front stood three asses wearing long white wigs and scarlet robes. On a table in front of them were place settings for a gourmet degustation. On cushions to one side were three large black caps.

“Welcome to  First Emperor Chef King Initial Nouveau Gastronomie Contest, ”  someone shouted at Henry. He turned to see a tall man with wild black hair staring fixedly into his eyes and gesticulating at him with pointed fingers. "This is the Instant Death Round."

“I am Macho Pierre Blanc and you are contestant three hundred and nine. Take your place at a bench and make yourself the hero of the dish. We wish to see you on a plate. A few tears and a soppy background story will help with the judges.”

A short redfaced orc with a spikey hairdo strode forward and thrust his face close, eyeballing him with evil intent.   Macho Pierre Blanc introduced him to Henry.

"This is your mentor* Gordy Ramsbum from Bistro Hades. You must achieve the fourteen dish menu with Soylent Green and three other ingredients in the next forty minutes. Failure means instant and permanent elimination but success will bring a wonderful reward for you and your friends and make you F.E.C.K.I.N.G Winner-for-LIfe. Go forth young man and do your best to degust!”

Henry rolled up his sleeves in desperation and began to cook. The honour of the crew was at steak, not to mention his life.

Thank you all for happy birthday greetings
@ScarletBea for scumptious  cake with supreme creature presiding ;D
@ArcaneArtsVelho, @Eclipse @Saraband and not yet summonable Henry Dale for kind wishes and yes there is a good deal of sugar rush around at present  ;D ;D
@Jmack thanks for dropping by and  sorry about looooong meeting but so happy to revisit a little of that looniness at RPG ;D  Let us not forget that Henry triumphed and did us proud that day. 8)

Guess it's time to confess that although I would love you to imagine me as tall, elegant, sophisticated and deadly Lady Ty, I am much closer to Oggy, and, while not quite older than time, I did manage to hit threescore and fourteen today and am beating the odds so far.

So to all of my very good friends here, too many to name, but The Writers Corner and The Kings Paws are where you all hangout - thank you most sincerely for helping to keep me young, that's a great responsibility and  you are champions at it so far. Also  for putting up with occasional rants, for not minding all the times I modify because I forgot part of my post and for being patient when I don't keep up with all the reading here.

This is not the type of thing to see when I'm sneaking a peek during a meeting >:(

And, ah! I was always confused about what a 'score' of years was, but now I'm happy to discover I got the right number!
