Congratulations, Eli!  :)
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

Congrats, Where next? Can you lever this into the Hungarian market as there are a sizeable minority of Romanian speakers in Hungary and visa-versa?

Well, "where next" is Romania, because the book will be published in April or May. And I think we'll have to wait and see how it does before getting ambitious.

Me and the editor of the magazine that published the short two years ago did a little interview that went up on Facebook on the 23rd. We're going to do a much longer one, that will also include Neil Clarke, editor of Clarkesworld, and the main theme will be sci-fi and its themes of hopes and dreams. It will play on a convention in Romania on the 29th.

On the one hand this is a big opportunity, and will hopefully help generate interest. On the other I'm nervous as hell, because sci-fi actually isn't my main genre, I haven't read many of the genre classics, and in fact haven't had much time for leisure reading at all in recent years.

Wow, an editor from Clarkesworld magazine. That's like the biggest boss of the e-magazine industry. Way to go Eli! *thumbs up emoji*

Well, that interview happened. It was an interesting experience and I hope it helped, but I think I kind of dropped the ball a couple of times, especially near the end when I didn't quite understand a question. Still, I chatted with Neil Clarke for a while, and he gave me some advice.

I just googled War of the usurper and it was all Game of Thrones results.

Do you think a new title for your Romanian edition would make it unique? Pop up in search results better?

I just googled it myself out of curiosity, and was pleasantly surprised to find its Goodreads entry on the first page.

As for the Romanian edition, I have no control over what they call it over there.
