You have a homescreen page on your kindle? Wow! mine is always ever just my list of folders and books. I must have a lame kindle...

It's just the covers of the books for me :P and advertising more on the bottom. Mine actually still has an old one, my mum's has the new homepage thing that has your most recently read books on the left side like Goodreads.

Also does anyone else have more books on their to-read pile than actually read?  :'(

I'm the opposite, I have a great average : 4.03

Or maybe it just means that I record and remember the books I loved well, and tend to not rate anything when a book goes DNF. If I gave 1 star to half my DNF, 2 to the ones I just abandoned for no reason, then my average surely would be lower.

3.84 here. Surprised it's so low, since I've read so many long series which I loved all the way through.

I'm at 3.78.  I have a feeling if we could give half-stars on there it would be higher as I tend to round down rather than up if I think something is a 3.5 (or 4.5 or whatever).

301 ratings, 4.42 average. Not bad really, though I'm sure I gave stuff 5 that didn't deserve it other than I just enjoyed the book quite a bit, even if its not a '5 star' book.

Hey that's almost an 8 overall rating, which is not bad at all!

I've got an average score of 3.91 for 590 ratings .... which is pretty much what I expected (not really paid any attention to this before)

My average rating is 3.37 , I might be a bit harsh on my ratings anyone lower?

I think this just means you are more willing/likely to take a chance on a 'maybe' book than most of us   :)
... although now I've succumbed to kindle unlimited I will probably see my average drop a bit over the next few months as I start taking a few chances on some less well reviewed novels.
