Nobody has the same books I have. Some guy named Paul has 12 books that I have on my list, but I forgot who that is.

I researched for hours today about the @ mentions, and incredibly, for some forums it appears to work just right, while the general consensus is that spaces don't work.
Even went to the developers of this forum template and got the same answer. For some, it works, but for most it doesn't.
So I guess Bea will totally have to make that GR account now  ::)

About book comparing, I have a whooping 0% with SugoiMe, Pornokitsch and Yora.
The winner is...Saurus, with 85%, even though we never talked, although I do talk a lot with Raptori haha. Nora with 83% and Michael Sullivan with 82% complete the Top 3. Never read Sullivan either.

Everyone else is around the 70% mark.

Lanko I only look at the compares if we rated at least 20 books otherwise you could get a high percentage just for a couple of books you have both read

I've got 95% with Ryan but that's because we've only rated three books between us.

Haha I did that same research a while back, the reason it works for some and not for others is that there are multiple plugins for the same feature. The one F-F uses doesn't support spaces in usernames, whereas some others do. Think one of the admins here confirmed it.  :P

Yep, that was me. The plugin we have doesn't work with spaces (and updating changes plugins is not one of my powers)

What is the compare to others thing, and how do I do it?

So did you do the compare and who had the highest percentage with you?

Mmm. I did find the function.

Five more names for the master list! Twitter had a good use after all: found two people that regularly post here and that also have a GR account. Also some authors that I see here regularly.

@Autumn2May, @CameronJohnston, Jen Williams (@sennydreadful), Barbara J Webb and Francis Knight as our two unsummonables.

You can still go and change the big master list post/thread :) it doesn't have to be Arry.

A query to any of my friends on GR. Yesterday I wrote a review and then went in 4 times straight after to edit because I still found minor typos. The add to my update box was ticked so I have an uncomfortable feeling that you got a notification for each edit. If this is so,please accept apologies and also let me know if that happened so I can turn that box off in the future
