I like a lot of xkcd's stuff, but like anything there is always a few you don't like.  The thing that gets me on this one is a negative zip code isn't a thing (or at least isn't a thing I have heard of) and it makes it feel like I'm missing something.

This. Like some, others less so.

Seems hit and miss to me too.
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

I've enjoyed everyone discussing a joke that isn't funny or well done.

More entertaining than the joke really.

Same.

I assume it's a reference to the way computer coding can go completely haywire when you make a sign error.  But it doesn't quite land for me.

And there's no amount of explaining after the fact that can make a joke work after the fact.  It's like trying to produce the emotion of surprise by explaining in a detailed essay how two facts don't fit together.

The worst spy in the world. 'Oh me? No I'm just sort of holding this bag here, oh bag where are you taking me? Near the presidents? Yes I'm sure we should stand here, no one can see us...'

I don't know how, but I want to write a story with a levitating otter.

If you like him, check out the link I put on here, it's some of his best fantasy related works, though his blog is an endless gold mine.

That's little more than a classily drawn Godwin point, but it's too true to be at fault  :-X
