Came to programme halfway through last night because something important on another channel. Have to confess don’t always keep close account of proceedings but began to feel something not quite right. Some lady seemed to have a distinctively strange dressexactly same as another had worn yesterday...... Yup was watching re-run. Second semi final tonight so this time I will concentrate.
What do you think of the dress that covers most of the floor ScarletBea ?  :)

That was quite cool, and she had a great voice too!

Finally caught up.  :D Now I have seen the Vikings and am impressed with Denmark entry.  Think I like Norway as well, but haven't heard the Big Five who are always in the final yet. My scribbly notes are rather like a first run at the writing contest " Yes No Maybe Hmm OMG Not really. "
Wow Russia didn't make it to final this year. And China has had TV rights withdrawn because they objected to a gay couple and the rainbow flag.

Pleased to see more of Lisbon and the Eurovision village at last and last night they brought a big trayful of your favourite pastries to Jess our singer and her crew, ScarletBea. That was so kind, and sent me looking for the recipe and think shall have to have a go soon.Is it Lisbon the home city of you or Saraband?
Anyway, hopefully be joining you in my morning tomorrow. ;D

Don't start the show without me.  :P

Told them to wait AAV

;)I woke at my 4.00am and am fully coffee'd up, wrapped in my doona in a comfy chair, caught up on here and ready to go. Are you with us ScarletBea? We need distraction sohow about  put your new heels on while you are watching to give them a little wearing in so they will be comfortable on the day.  ;)
Saw a recap of 40 controversial last night, including my stars Lordi, AAV. It seems at home in Finland lots of people wanted them banned until they won.  ;D

I'm trying to watch on my computer, so I can chat better while watching, but my internet isn't cooperating.
It kept buffering earlier. Seems to work now, though. Let's hope it stays that way.

Don't really remember that, but wouldn't really be surprised if people thought that way. Lordi wasn't really what could be considered a "normal" Eurovision representative.  ;D

Norway will be one of my votes just such a happy person. All Aboard  is strange theme, not sure how any apply. Now need to recharge phone and plug in so can typetoo. Liked Slovenia.

Really love Porugal song, so gentle and lovely lady.

She did great after that!

Not really digging any of the songs that much so far, but a couple of things stood out: The vocal range of the Estonian singer and the emotion of the Portuguese singer.

Shame about the UK performance. Some people...  >:(
She did great, though.

UK lady was very professional after that person was so horrible. Good song too. Still like Denmark song and singers .

Still like Denmark song and singers .
Some parts of that song sound very familiar to me, but I can't for the life of me figure out why that is.
Also they should have gone full viking with the costumes and the stage.  ;D

Also accompanying Eurovision this year ;D I liked the French song, Israel has got to have the most fun of them all, but still looking forward to Cyprus which I think is my favourite this year.

Oh and Moldova was brilliant - taken straight out of the 1970s rulebook  :)

Finland (might be a tad influenced by the lovely Saara ;D )

And Denmark.

And I'm loving all the gay tweets about Portugal - that was my first reaction too, but I don't think they're true, hehe. But Claudia, you're also lovely ;D

Lots of great songs this year, though!
