Splitting up after 27 years.... So yeah interesting times. The good news .... I am breathing in and out, putting one foot in front of the other. Life is a monster sometimes, but one we all must face, alone if need be. So I will remain quiet and lurking while I squash these lemons into lemonade.

That's sad, Gem. I remember the times you praised your wife not long ago and you just bought a house together... :/ I really hope it works out for you.

If it's the right move, then congratulations.
if it's not, I hope the reunion comes sooner than later :)
We're all alone deep inside, Gem, but togetherness is always a welcome dash of sweet in the savory palette f life.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I'm in no position to advise on relationships. But I am a child of divorce, and if things truly weren't working then this is the only sensible thing to do.

Best of luck.
I'll notify your next of kin... that you sucked!

Sorry to hear that, TGC.  :(
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

I'm hoping you get some good news soon, Inky. What a horrible, horrible thing to happen :(

Sorry to hear about splitting up TGC - not much I can say other than you've always been one of the good ones around here. Aye, just keep on putting one foot in front of the other and you'll find yourself exploring an interesting new path. I hope it's as painless as it can be for you all.

Note: if you think you read a post from me earlier, yes, you're not seeing things, but I deleted it.
Still not exactly ready to handle it.

@The Gem Cutter that´s very sad to hear.

We all need to carry our weight alone, we can seek the advice or sympathy of others, but in the end we need to solve our problems ourself.
It´s good to hear that you work on it and try to make the best out of it, even if it´s hard.
Good luck on your path, may it lead to peace and happiness.
Truly, if there is evil in this world, it lies within the heart of mankind.

Sorry to ask, but I trust you enough to do it without me explaining... can I get some hugs, maybe a dragon or fancy book or two? No need to clutter this thread, you can post in the King's Paws, but I'm asking here because it's related to the stuff in the title...
