I know the worry-worn ache of hearts that wait and wait to learn,
For news that all is well or ill with hope and dread by turns.
Many a night have I stood watch while moments turned to hours,
I’ve paced the floors and watched the doors and called upon High Powers.

Hope - the only light that shines on nights so long and still,
Glimmers in my hands while I imagine that my quill,
Traces worthy words that just distract and calm my hands,
While a nobler soul I know now wanders shadowed lands.

We're all waiting - I didn't get any text overnight, but that doesn't mean anything. She could have forgotten hehe

There could be many reasons for delay in a hospital, also Mrs JMack must have very many people to keep in touch with.  :D

I wasn't here to wish good luck, so wishing speedy recovery instead now.
I hope you recover quickly from the surgery, Jmack! Get well soon!  :)
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

I don't know anything about heart attacks or surgery, but I'm just happy our JMack is okay.

I dreamt a number of scenarios, all of them good. I am happy to wake and find good news. Spider-sense still works  8)

Five bypasses? That's a shame. Pretty sure if you buy five the sixth is free  ;D

I laughed at the absurdity of this then I realised it probably reads like satire to a lot of people.  I have my share of worries, but getting sick and not being able to afford health care isn't one of them.

I'm glad to hear the surgery went well for JMack!
