I was just wondering how long the entryplus critiques will be. I know they will take a while to do them well, but it has been a while since the winners were announced.

So sorry for the delay. I was out for surgery for 3 weeks and am finally back! I'll have Marc post with an exact number for you as soon as he can. I know we are getting close, but I'm not sure how close. Thanks for your patience and I promise we are working as fast as we can. :)

Getting there, guys and girls. Sorry it's taking so long, the three of us have had a pretty manic time of late :(

Hoping to have Entry Plus done by end of April, Anthology is pretty much edited, ready to send the edits out over the next couple weeks.

For reference - anthology projects are harder than you think!!!! :O

Not too far off done now, it seems a few that we're sent haven't been received - had 2 today, so expecting there to be more :(

Got it! :) Me, Paul and Jennie LOVED your story. Jennie was the one who found it and long-listed it, so I've placed it on to her 'to do ASAP' pile :)

Really sorry to hear that, Autumn, hope there were no complications and that you're feeling better! Seriously, no rush. As I said in my post, patience isn't much of a problem.... it's just a lot harder with no information!  ;)

Got my EntryPlus last week, some great feedback from Autumn2May highlighting  one of the things I was most concerned about (a large cast for a short story). I know where I went wrong (too much time setting up too big a cast, not enough forward movement) and have ideas where I need to go.

First thing on the list is a re-read of The Fool Jobs by Joe Abercrombie - which in part was the reason I had a large cast - and see how he managed them and made a short story work.

Thanks to everyone involved with the EntryPlus, unpaid and in your own time shows a great level of dedication to the project.
