Okay guys I also was only interested in Batman but I read Hawkeye: Volume 1 by Matt Fraction and it's one of the best comics I've read, that whole series is fantastic and i haven't got anywhere near going through them yet. You might think why would a comic about Hawkeye be interesting but the great idea they take is that he's not being a superhero in it, the comic is when he's not working with the avengers - he's saving stray dogs, helping neighbours with rent from gangsters, and all other problems he accidentally gets himself into, it's also very funny.

Seconded! Matt Fraction's Hawkeye is my favorite Hawkeye. The stories are fun but the dialogue is the best. I've only read the first trade so far (first five issues + bonus) but I will be picking up the next few, once I have some money in my comic budget.

I just hope every future issues starts with "Okay, this looks bad..."

It lets me choose about 100 random threads I started over the years but not this one.  :(
Okay, done. :)

Is Asterix and the Missing Scroll the newest one? With a Snowden cameo? Haven't read it yet, but the last one took place in Scotland (Asterix and the Picts if I remember right) and was nearly as good as the old ones.

A Snowden stand in character and a satire on Snowden. Def as good as the originals. Asterix is big in Germany I noticed!

I read Monstress today. Absolutely stunning artwork.

That edition of Monstress looks lovely.

Amazon don't appear to have it in stock though. :(

From my understanding, Amazon doesn't sell single issue comics (just volumes that combine multiple issues like the Saga volumes), so you'll likely have to order from a Comic store. It's worth hunting down, imho. :)

I also know the first printing sold out right away, but there was a second printing this month. Not sure where that one stands (if it sold out as quick as the first)

Ahh really need to read Monstress, the artwork looks amazing. And it'll be ages before the trade comes out :(

Finished reading Preacher: Book One yesterday, so good, so violent and bonkers and creepy and horrible. I love it, I want to storm through the rest of it.
