Oh wow, it's almost here already! I totally loved season 1, but I'm really feeling sure about Anthony Mackie as the lead for season 2. Let's see how it goes and if he is up to the role of Takeshi Kovacs, eh?  8)

If the series follows the books its more military based than police investigation so a change of direction.

That is why I am reading Broken Angels so I am up to date :)

And think Anthony Mackie will be great.  Bring on the Martians!

@isos81 going by your profile pic, you must be a fan of Bruce Lee and probably of Kung Fu. If so, watch "Iron Fist and Kung Fu Kicks" in Netflix. It's a 90 min documentary on history and development of Kung Fu cinema through the years. Narrated in a fun and humorous way and has a big section of Bruce Lee too.

Thanks @Bender, just when I was looking for what to watch on Netflix :) Right on time! Thanks again.

I've just watched The Godfather and The Godfather II for the first time ever, and man, especially the first movie had to be one of the best films I've ever watched to date. The acting was so powerful that I could definitely feel the aura of power coming off Vito Corleone, especially when the people who came to him have to kiss his hand, like a subject paying respects to the king. The way Michael Corleone executes his plan near the end of the movie was so calm and coldblooded it actually chilled me, and he gave off the vibes of the man who will become the next Godfather, the ruthless ruler of the Italian mobsters who would totally crush anyone who stood in his path. No wonder this is a classics, no matter how many years have passed this movie deserved to be re watched by the new and old generations alike, I think.

On that note I've also watched Jumanji 3. Although not as original as the second movie, this one is also one hell of a fun ride of a movie, and I would definitely love to see the fourth and further installments of the movies whenever they come. This could certainly be the next successful franchise as I see it.

Is this the first Dwayne Johnson movie or the latest second one? I always get confused.

I got a bit confused there as thought you were discussing the Godfather films still.

It's the second one. The second Jumanji movie was the one where The Rock appeared for the first time.

Watch Godfather 3 now!!!

I've heard not so pretty things about it, so I've been hesitating whether I should watch the third movie at all. A lot of people say that it wasn't the masterpiece that the first and second was, so I'm a bit scared that it would lessen the wonderful experience that was the first two films. What is your personal opinion of the third film, @Nighteyes?

I was being silly.  Godfather III is a weird one.  It's not as dreadful as some people would have you believe, but just not even in the same ball park as I and II.

Picard is awesome.

We'll not mention Zathura, the Jumanji movie that isn't a Jumani movie. Kind of how the 1967 Casino Royale isn't acknowledged as a Bond film.

I knew there was something shifty  ;D I'd rather watched Scarface (just watched that last week, actually), Goodfellas, and The Irishman lmao.

On the other hand I heard the the second season of Altered Carbon didn't really reach expectations. Have anyone watched it yet?
