I'm so unbelievably picky about TV shows, it sucks. Most stuff just makes me tune out. I just finished watching DS9 for the first time (every time I tried to watch it in the past, the trippiness of the first episode made me tune out). Right now I'm watching The Avengers for the first time, downloading Buffy to watch again for the third time (saw it first time at the start of this year, can't believe I always thought it'd be crap!) and then not sure what to watch.
From what I've seen on TVtropes, Supernatural looks like it could get awesome, but the first episodes were meh and too creepy for me (I can't do horror, creepy, disturbing or unsettling - Pet Sematary broke me). I might give one of the many vampire shows a shot, True Blood/Being Human/Vampire Diaries. Yet to see any of the Grimm show, might try the first episode. I've got season 1 of Farscape downloaded, and it's a great show, but this is like the fourth time I've started watching and gotten bored partway through season 1, but again, what I've seen on TVtropes seems like it gets awesome later on. Oh, and I've got Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere ready to torrent.
Any suggestions? I like scifi and fantasy, but I don't watch book adaptations (so no Sword of Truth or Game of Thrones). I love Buffy, Dead Like Me, Dexter (the ONLY realistic/crime show I like), Doctor Who, Reaper (cancelled too soon), Star Trek TNG, VOY and DS9, The Twilight Zone.
I've seen Smallville which was kinda meh, but it's the TYPE of show I like. Has plot arcs as well as just interesting "monster/problem of the week" episodes.
