I started playing... no that's not quite the word here...
I started work on a plush yellow chocobo (Final Fantasy).
It's not the first plushie I make, my first creation was a blue quaggan (Guild Wars 2).
Making plushies is kind of soothing and gives awesome results  :D

Umm. Are we talking RL stuffed animals? Or game life thingies? Or.... ?

RL stuffed animals

Yellow Riding Bird!
Gentle Roundish Amphibians!

You should see some of the quaggan-inspired human baby outfits and cute knitted hats people have made and posted on the internet. Or, maybe you have.  :)

I've seen them, I don't know how to knit tho.
The knitted hats are actually based on in-game hats you can buy.

I rarely keep my creations too. My quaggan is in Australia. Wonder where my chocobo will end up.
I'll stick to sewing stuff though, I don't like knitting with them big sticks. And sewing is more useful cuz you can mend clothes.

Playing card game Dominion with JMacksdotter.

Update: JMacksdotter totally mopped the tabletop with me. We didn't even clout up the victory points it was so brutally lopsided.

Finally made a start on Pillars of Eternity last week. I don't think I have the time to commit to it, but it's ticking all the right boxes.

Well, the right box. The only box.

Being just like the old Infinity Engine games. TICK. Glorious stuff.

Pillars remains on my list (so hard to fight time for an RPG these days!) along with a dozen other games. Currently, Rise of the Tomb Raider is soaking up my limited gaming time, and deservedly so.

Disciples 2

...again. I've played and replayed this game countless times yet I still enjoy it. The art, the audio and the simple yet complicated enough gameplay make me keep coming back to it 15 years since I first tried it. Like an old friend.

I do wish there were more bits of media like it. That are not afraid to go well beyond high fantasy into something much larger than life. Instead, we inject more and more reality into everything. What's the point of fantasy and imagination of you don't just open the gates completely from time to time.

Rocket League! Holy crap, what a fun game! It's basically soccer with cars. So fun and so satisfying.

Lemme ask you something. Do you think that maybe the game would be more fun if the ball had more weight to it?

Spent the day on Darksiders II and decided to lighten up a bit by starting Skyrim around 11pm... You know...
Spent a long while figuring out how to make space for the game to play on the PS3 (Which is not mine, but the games are).
Finally I could load it. Made myself a nice Khajiit character. Dragon hits, finally get to move around, and bam! PS3 freezes, not response over control. Sound plays out but screen is decidedly frozen.
I shut it down, restarted, froze again at the same spot.

Shut it down again, made more memory space, turned off all auto saves, and it froze AGAIN, just 10 seconds later in the game than before.

This time at least I had a save in the middle of the action and didn't have to wait for my beheading to play out...

Fourth time still didn't make it. There is the fact that the ps3 keeps asking me to download the latest software version, but I keep avoiding it. After all it's not my ps3... Dammit.
So frustrating!!!
I was finally playing Skyrim, had 3 days off ahead to lose myself in it and now this!  :'(
Guess I'll finish Darksiders then.

This is why I play Bethesda games on my pc. Even then it's a bugged out mess but at least you have more workarounds.
If you have spare change, Skyrim is on discount on Steam a lot and even without discount it's fairly cheap.

I have steam, but I'm on a mac. Not sure if it'd still work... And damn I just bought that game. I've got 14 days to bring it back, but it's a bummer, can't tell if it's the game or the ps3 really. If I got my own ps3, it might not bug either.  :-\

Yes you would have to run it through a virtual environment of windows or something.
Pretty annoying and it would slow it down considerably which in the case of skyrim might kill it.

At least you can bring it back so there's no real loss. Just missing out on the experience of playing it.  :-\

Personally I'm waiting for the pc release of Dragon's Dogma on Friday. The gameplay is described as Shadow of the Collossus, DMC, Monster Hunter and Elder Scrolls Mix. Can't wait ^^

Feels about right to me. But there are mutators that will make the ball heavier.

Finished Rise of the Tomb Raider a few nights ago and wasn't disappointed. As enjoyable as the first, and this time they didn't have to work in an origin story. I would really love someone to do an Uncharted and Tomb Raider crossover, but that's unlikely to ever happen.

Go play the new Tomb Raider if you have an XBone or XBox360 (they have versions for both) or buy it on PC, if you prefer. Recommended.

Not sure what I'm going to play next. I've got a hugely busy writing schedule this year and nothing feels like it's on my "must play" list.

I've played that several times! It's terrible, in a completely awesome way. :0
