My husband has a similar reaction to Eva Green, so I assume that sooner or later he will watch it and I will hear all about it, but at present there don't seem to be any Australia viewing/streaming options, so that'll have to wait as well!

Me too ("similar reaction to Eva Green") ;D

And ooooh I really liked that series! :D
It's kinda weird and all the actors are all amazing, not just darling Eva, hehe

Do you know the premise? Set in New Zealand, it's centred on a young adventurer named Anna Wetherell (not Eva), who has travelled from the UK to start a new life on the South Island's West Coast during the 1860s West Coast Gold Rush.

I'm just super excited to see Eva Green do seances. My current DnD character is a fake psychic

What's so special about Eva Green?
"I shall hunt your firstborn children and laugh with glee as I tell them of your death in terrible detail, with many unpleasant adjectives!" - M-Bot

"Who needs science when you have a dragon?" - Neil DeGrasse Tyson in Sharknado 6

For me, it's that she's so wildly expressive, and grabs hold of a role with such verve and relish, that it means that somehow even very subtle and nuanced scenes, where it's all about the little details and the tiny expressions, are full of life. She can do massive wildness but also frozen fragility with equal and entrancing skill. She is absolutely never boring to watch. She also seems entirely at home with nudity, which is just a straight up bonus for my husband, but also means that there's often a lot of interesting nuance in her performances about female sexualisation.
