Just saw this announced. I love Powder Mage, and Joseph Malozzi has a brilliant track record with genre shows. Won't be for some years yet,  but I'm hoping this makes it through production.

Hope it's good. TV shows/films adapted from fantasy novels lately haven't been that promising.

I think this could work really well. Certainly part of why I gave up on reading the series is that it was very action-based, which is something I hate reading a lot of, but could stand to watch a lot of. And - much like the Twilight books - without the annoying character voice narration, things might be a whole lot more enjoyable! (for me... ;D)

I would love to see this done well, but every adaption I can think of in the last 5 years has shat on the author from a great height. We love your work so much we are going to change it utterly.
