My next 5 books are:

1. Proxima by Stephen Baxter
2. Malice by John Gwynne
3. Tuf Voyaging by George RR Martin
4. The Black Mausoleum by Stephen Deas
5. Dragon Queen also by Stephen Deas

(I actually love that this topic exists, makes me feel a little less pathetic about how planned out my reading schedule actually is)

1. The Door into Summer - Robert A. Heinlein
2. The Surgeon's Mate - Patrick O'Brian
3. Hannibal - Ross Leckie
4. The Martian Chronicles - Ray Bradbury
5. Ethan of Athos - Lois McMaster Bujold

That's my current thoughts, anyway, but it'll probably change as the mood takes me.  I picked up Gemmell's Lion of Macedon last night and read the first couple of pages and was very tempted just to keep reading, so that one (among others) may jump the queue.

I'm due to have surgery at the end of the month and will be having a lot of time off work. One very big silver lining is the amount of time I'll have for reading :D ;)

Next 5 books:

The Iron Jackal - Chris Wooding
Something Wicked This Way Comes - Ray Bradbury
Some Kind of Fairy Tale - Graham Joyce
Happy Hour in Hell - Tad Williams
  • Currently reading : Dominion - C J Sansom

I like the sneaky use of number 0 there. Currently reading, I take it?

I doubt this will actually happen:

0. The Legend of Eli Monpress Rachel Aaron
1. Tales of the Ketty Jay Chris Wooding
2. The Kingkiller Chronicle Patrick Rothfuss
3. Echoes of Empire Mark T. Barnes
4. The Iron Ghost Jen Williams
5. Gentleman Bastard Scott Lynch

Yes, I've put entire series instead of single books. I'm cool like that.  8)
