Finished London Falling by Paul Cornell, nearly gave up 1/4 way in but then suddenly the story turned and glad I stuck with it. Very Rivers Of London with echoes of Dog Faced Gods.

Now reading Prince Of Fools by Mark Lawrence.
To have an idea is not enough - no matter how good the idea is.

Debating whether I should finish Unwrapped Sky by Rjurik Davidson, which I started in March, jump into Morningside Fall by Jay Posey, or see what all the hububb is about in The Shadow Master by Craig Cormick.

As it turns out, it was none of these.

Currently reading Darkwalker by E.L. Tettensor. Really fun with a strong, vivid atmosphere. And an asshole protagonist. More a comfort read than anything.

I have no idea why you would want to read The Shadow Master. Unless it was to read the worst euphemisms in the most laughably awkward sex scene I've come across.

Anyway, I finished Saga #1, which was good and Thief's Magic which I really enjoyed. It was much better than her Black Magician trilogy (which I enjoyed, but also had a couple of issues with, so gave it an average good rating).

I have started Unwept by Tracy and Laura Hickman

I needed a new audiobook and decided to check my library. I found Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman. Really enjoying it so far. Didn't know what to expect since I had heard nothing about it and none of my Goodreads friends have read it.

Started Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi, which is full of fairy tale references and strangeness. Lovely.

I finished Warbound by Larry Correia and started Dawn's Early Light, the 3rd of the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrence steampunk books by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris. Marie Brennan's A Natural History of Dragons is my secondary book.
I will expand your TBR pile.

I'm now on Melanie Rawn's Thornlost, the third (last?) of her Glass Thorns series.
The first is still my favourite, but it's quite good anyway, magic and theatre, wandering troupes, such special theatre, races and abilities, and friendship (although I would definitely call it a big bromance, if not more, even if the characters haven't noticed yet hehe)
I just wish they would lay down a bit more on the drinks and drugs (i.e. the 'glass thorns' from the title).
At home in the Fantasy Faction forum!

I'm "She Who Reigns Over Us All In Crimson Cheer", according to Peat!

So I realized last week I was simultaneously reading two Sanderson novels (finishing Way of Kings and starting Steelheart) AND two Butcher novels (Skin Game and Furies of Calderon). Enjoying every minute, though it's doing a number on my sleep!

Just finished Cold Days and The Crimson Campaign this week, enjoyed them both.  I actually do not have anything on the dock for next, I'm waiting for my hold at the library on Skin Game to come up.  I do have Red Rising ready to read but have been trying to hold off on that for the July bookclub.

Alice in Wonderland, to have something cheerful and fun after Abercrombie's The First Law trilogy  :)

Recently I started reading The Night Circus. It's very atmospheric and so far a delightful read; a very different turn away from the military fantasy I read beforehand.
