I've been reading Words of Radiance which was great but with that now finished, I think I'll start The Republic of Thieves book later.

Finished Words of Radiance and started on The Time Traveller's Guide to Medieval England: A Handbook for Visitors to the Fourteenth Century by Ian Mortimer. I am finding that it could be a damn good sourcebook for fantasy world-building.

Taking my time over The Crippled God.  Really don't want this series to be over, but can't wait to see how it finishes.

I really haven't been inspired by what I'm reading recently. I did enjoy Jasper Fforde's One of Our Thursdays is Missing, heavy on the laughs and the world building, but very light on plot, but I just wanted something with more substance. I've gone old school and dug out Robert Silverberg's Lord Valentine's Castle. I last read this a long time ago, but even just starting it again it has the promise of something that is so damned good.
I will expand your TBR pile.

I finished WOR a week or so ago. Since have read The Boy with the Porcelain Blade (quite a fun gothiky read), Paddington Races Ahead (an amusing mix up over Oysters and London buses), Storm Front (fun) now reading Straight Razor Cure (dull and generic)

I'm reading Terry Goodkind - Sword of truth: wizard's first rule    but I'm a bit disappointed.  I've finished almost all robin hobb's work so Goodkind's work seems a child's play

He is famously shit. Is there not something better you could read? Scott Lynch is very good.

If you haven't read George Martin or Joe Abercrombie you could also try them. If you don't like Wizard's First Rule you'd be better off leaving Goodkind alone (I couldn't get through WFR) and many people say that they only get worse the further you go.

I've read George Martin but never tried Abercrombie. I'll guess that it will be the next on my list. Thanks!
