I've just started a re-read of Magician by Feist. It's been a while since I re-read anything, and felt like I needed some old friends!
I know that feeling and Magician is one of the books I seek solace with too. :)

I too know that feeling, but my go-to is usually Moorcock's The Revenge of the Rose.

Just started Orb Sceptre Throne.  Enjoying it so far - and Esselmont is doing a decent job with some of Eriksons characters (incl. the more eccentric ones, which I was a bit worried about before I started reading the book).

I started reading the Codex Alera a week or so ago, after finishing the Farseer Trilogy.

Both book series are quite enjoyable, though the pattern in Codex Alera of "everything is going to Hell but is saved at the very possible last milisecond" is getting quite boringly predictable :(  As is the author's use of the word "literally".

I just started the Emperor's Knife by Mazarkis Williams, hopefully it's good.   After that, I've picked up Blackbirds by Chuck Wendig

Paperback: Ex-Heroes by Peter Clines. Pulpy superhero zombie thing. About a quarter through and unless it picks up I won't go further with the series.

Kindle: Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence. A lot less dense than I was expecting. A lot less grim and dark than I was expecting, too, but I'm only at chapter 13, so it has time yet.

Audio: still struggling through A Dance With Dragons, George RR Martin. This is like wading through treacle. I loved books 1-3, thought book 4 was the most boring book I'd read in years, and ADWD is only marginally better.

I don't know if reading is the right word, but Island of the Lizard King by Ian Livingstone because I'm slightly tipsy, still have a snotty beak from watching The Girl Who Leaped Through Time and it was right there on my shelf. I've got my dice ready and that scaly S.O.B. is going DOWN!
I am NOT short. I'm further away than I look.
