-The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms
by NK Jemisen - Good, but not as good as I hoped.  her Dreamblood duo was so amazing, I was actually a bit disappointed at some of the weaker characterization of this one.  Good enough that I will most likely read the next though.

I personally preferred the second one, as I liked the main character much more :)

Just Finished A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan. Different from what I expected. I assumed it was gonna be like the War Fighting Manuals by Den Patrick, but it actually reads more like a novel from the first person perspective. I enjoyed it. Before that I was reading the Memory of Flames trilogy by Stephen Deas (liked it, I tailor my book buying habits so I find I like most stuff I read).

Gonna take a break from fantasy for the time being maybe read some true crime or general fiction. Next SFF type thing I'm thinking of reading The Broken Empire trilogy by Mark Lawrence.

I haven't been reading much at all the past few weeks (since I finished Words of Radiance), but I did try to start Dark Eden yesterday. I'm not real far yet, but it's different different than I thought it would be ;)

Managed to snag To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis, either free or for $.99 recently. I remembered a good friend recommended it as funny SFF. I'm enjoying it tremendously so far. It's almost slapstick time travel humor, very funny, although some of the nonstop British cultural references go sailing past my poor Midwestern head.

Probably going to pick up The Iron Jackal by Chris Wooding next. Mainly because I love the Ketty Jay series, and since I know it ends after 4 books, I'm trying to pace myself.

I'm currently listening to The Bone House (Bright Empires #2) by Stephen Lawhead on Audible and reading The Ale Boy's Feast, the fourth and final book of Jeffrey Overstreet's great series The Auralia Thread.

Still Words of Radiance! Can't remember last time I spent so long reading one book! Think real life is taking a toil rather than the book being incredibly demanding.  It is full of exciting set pieces and Sanderson to be fair doesn't drag out mysteries like some sagas.
