Currently, I'm reading Myst: The Book of Ti'Ana again (hehehe, I'm prepping for the movie). After that, I have no idea what I'm going to read... But I have Waking the Witch and The Reckoning, both by Kelley Armstrong and ArchEnemy by Frank Beddor in my "to-read" pile.

I quite liked Kelley Armstrong but decided to give it a bit of a rest after I read 'Haunted'. I quite enjoyed that book though, it was 'different'. I'm not really a huge fan or Urban Fantasy books usually but Kelley Armstrong is certainly talented. I think I'll catch up with her works some time... I have her book about the Chaso Demon - is it; InnerDemons or something like that?

Oh, yeah; "Personal Demon". I vaguely remember that one; it's been a while since I've read it. I love the "Women of the Otherworld" series; mostly the books about the werewolves, though. She writes them exactly how I think they should be; people who morph into wolves, not half-wolf / half-man beasty things. :P The novellas that she posts on her website (some of which she's collected in a few novels ["Men of the Otherworld" and "Tales of the Otherworld"]) are also pretty damn fantastic.

That's the one... I didn't even knew she had a new series out... What is her best book in your opinion?

Oh, no... Honestly, I think the best one of that series is "Bitten". But I'm terribly biased; I love Elena and Clayton's characters, so I'm a sucker for any book with them in it. Plus, as I said, I love her werewolves... So I lean towards those books. "Bitten", "Stolen", "Broken" and "Frostbitten", and the short story "Beginnings" in "Tales of the Otherworld" are my favorites.

I'm reading 'A Cavern of Black Ice' by JV Jones. I'm  quite enjoying it although it took me a while to get into it. About 2 thirds of the way through.

I was reading To name the wind Patrick rothfuss (you can find all my patrick grrr posts around, but it IS a great book) put it down as its next months book club contender. Picked up The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson for the january book club read, always down for another re-read! also downloaded 3 brett weeks books to my kindle as somehow he completely missed my radar, but as there have been so many GLOWING reviews of the man I must bow to the Greater Forum Consensus. so I have something to do this weekend.

I've just finished Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey, and eagerly waiting for the next in the series to come into the library (darned out of print books!).

Sadly, Carey's series goes downhill…she gets a little too involved with trying to make it an alternative England.

Hmmm…currently reading 'Extraordinary Engines', a steampunk short story anthology.  Just finished the latest installment in the Shadowmarch series from Tad Williams. It was…well, it finally hooked me about 4 chapters from the end, but I keep thinking something's off in his game with this series.

Currently I am about halfway through The Erevis Cale Trilogy by Paul S Kemp. It is set in the Forgotten Realms and it is an omnibus of his three book Erevis Cale Trilogy. It is an awesome read. The only Forgotten Realms that I had read previous to this was Salvatore's Dark Elf and Icewind Dale trilogy with his super drow Drizzt Do'Urden.

Yesterday I got and started In the Name of the Wind (Rothfuss) and The Lies of Locke Lamora (Lynch) from the library. I have read the Prologue's and first 2 chapters in each and they both have me hooked big time! I got each of these based solely on the good reviews from GoodReads and the forum here. I cannot wait to get more into both of these.

I am hoping to finish Dawn of Night today. It is the second book in The Erevis Cale Trilogy. Then I will start going through The Lies of Locke Lamora, which I am enjoying what I read. I stopped In the Name of the Wind since it looks to be the group read in February. I may send it back to the library since I am pretty positive that I will like it enough to own it.
Currently Reading: Asssassin's Apprentice, Theft of Swords, Gardens of the Moon, Prince of Thorns

Favorite Authors: Tolkien, Sanderson, Kemp, Salvatore, Sullivan

I am reading 'Among Thieves' by Douglas Hulick... due out April 1st 2011.

I am going to do a review once done, but let me tell you that I lost myself in it for 6 hours straight this evening... It is better than I had even imagined and I had set my hopes very, very high indeed!

Haha, not a problem about being late ;)

How are you finding that book? Is it fantasy? Not heard of it... :(

Clan of the Cave Bear is fantastical historical fiction, maybe?

And I've just received a late Xmas present, Gordon Dahlquist's sequel to The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters … The Dark Volume.  So I'm putting the short stories aside and starting that.

I read that a few years back. There's a second book out but I didn't pick it up. I think it starts a bit strange, difficult to follow but in the end I did finish it so wasn't that bad... Ugly lay-out tho!

In the mean time I've got nothing to read anymore. Guess I'll cheat and start "The name of the wind" a little early
