For me it will always be Magician by Raymond E. Feist

It was my very first fantasy novel so i owe my passion for fantasy to that book

I'm re reading that at the moment, great story.

I tend to get overly enthused about things I've read recently, so Night Circus is my current favourite, and my fave series is The Dresden Files, but I think my favourite of all time is Shogun, by Clavell. Not fantasy, I know, but there you go!

Hard to choose, but I would have to go with The 1001 Arabian Nights.

If speaking of fantasy only, then Tolkien's Silmarillion might be it.

I feel it necessary to say The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit as Tolkien was the author that made me want to be a writer, but I have to say I absolutely love Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series, especially book one.
