Thanks a lot guys, that's a lot to begin with. I'll start looking up all the titles I don't recognise and authors I'm not sure we have a lot of, and see if I can't come up with a table roster already.
Keep suggesting though, as we'll probably have the table for Le Guin for at least a week.

@tebakutis put in CJ Cherryh, and I’m going to second that.
If you want one of hers that’s quite LeGuin-squeeze in its SF Treatment of human foibles (though it has nothing to do with feminism or the feminine), try “A Wave Withiut a Shore.” Erik, did you ever read that one?

I have not, but I've loved all the stuff of Cherryh's I've read, so if I get the chance, I'll check it out!

@Nora  Please could we have an update on how this went? Or even photos of your display ?

Well, my list has been sent but not approved of yet. So actually no news for the moment... I think it'll be more towards the end of the month or early in march.
On the other side of news though, I made friendly with V. E. Schwab who was in and signing her books in my section, incognito mode! I jumped on her, introduced myself as the ruler of the sff section, and told her that I was drooling in anticipation for the next Vicious.
We had a good long chat, her sister was there as well.
Turns out she comes to work on her books in our cafe, has just bought a flat in Edinburgh and loves the city.
Dazed! One of our bulk selling authors working in the cafe and being relaxed and friendly... aka, why working in a bookshop is the best.

Hi
Trying to keep this to those I didn't spot in previous replies, and a mix of old and new:

Aliette de Bodard
Kate Elliott
Margaret Atwood
Octavia Butler
Nnedi Okorafor
Anne McCaffrey
Becky Chambers
Francesca Haig
Pat Cadigan
Sarah Pinborough
Liz de Jager
Laini Taylor
Elspeth Cooper
Emma Newman

And if you're looking for debuts or women with only one/two books out, Deborah Wolf, Anna Smith Spark and, um, me...  :o

I realise this table has been up for over two weeks now and I haven't posted pictures! Here it is!

Now for mid/late July I'm preping a table of foreign titles. Everything written by non english-speaking authors, or foreigners who wrote in english, but offer a different perspective. I'll make a new thread for that I think.
