Nice cover, as with the first one there's loads of interesting stuff there. Two suns? Robots? A small dog?  :o I presume that the sword is the Malice, think it looks the same as the one in the first cover (which was also a good one).
I wish the world was flat like the old days, then I could travel just by folding a map.

I think you will find that's a baby goat - yes, there will be more Goat :)

I take it you haven't read the Vagrant?

The robot is likely to be a demon. They construct themselves a form from human flesh and armour themselves as they are not native to the world and cannot survive within it in their natural state.

Another very cool cover from Jamie Jones.

I have read it, but it's been a while. I don't remember them wearing armour that remotely resembles that though.  :-\

I'm using this thread instead of the "currently reading one".

I've just finished reading The Seven, the last book in this trilogy, and I think it was my favourite :D
The present tense, the different humanoid-or-not characters, the objective, the world history, everything that in book 1 felt so different, it's now developed and familiar, and all the different aspects come to a halt, together.
I do believe I will even enjoy "The Vagrant" more when I re-read it, knowing what comes later.

And Peter's way of describing family ties (whether blood or non-blood family), parents, grandparents, children, is just so good... It's not something you normally see in fantasy books, I really appreciated it.

If you read the first and was a bit uncertain whether to continue or not, I strongly recommend you do :D
