I got 27/105 (and if you ask me in a month, 28/105 - Tawny Man, you know ;) )
Plus one that I gave up.

But some of those covers, oh gawd... I don't think I'd have read as many if they were the covers of my books ;)

Yeah there are a few there that we have on our shelves but that I haven't read yet, and I tried a couple more but didn't finish them.

And yah, the covers are horrendous!  ;D

I'm at 30/105.  Some of the series I counted if the last book came out but I haven't gotten to it yet (i.e. Raven's Shadow or Demon Cycle series).

25/105 for me, though I counted when I read some of the books in the series - a few I didn't enjoy enough to finish. Still, not bad going.  :)

Yep, we're all around the same average except Eclipse, the current big winner!

Some also depend on our age, don't they? I'm not sure I would classify all the books in that list as 'classics' or 'best'...

If I count those series where I've read significantly, even if I haven't finished every book, then I've read 41 out of 105.
Quick, I've gotta get another 2 in to go ahead of Eclipse.  8)

Don't worry Elfy will blow everyone out of the water.

I'm quite surprised I read so many from the list.

46/105 for me.

I was being fairly strict. I haven't necessarily read all of the books in a series, but I've read most of them. I counted Wheel of Time, where I haven't read the last three, but not Malazan or Gormenghast, where I've only read the first one.

I'm thinking this might mean I'm older than most people here.

6/105 for me. Okay fine, 5/105 as I have read only one of the Witcher books. Still more than I thought.  8) ;D
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

I read 3 on the first page. The other two pages can't be displayed for some reason.

Turns out they have a link to the original source. So I have 7. If you could having read one book out of a lose series of self contained stories.

I'm at 59! Really need to get my Guy Gavriel Kay on it seems, that should bump up the numbers!

Some of them I confess I found tough. I've tried Jonathan Strange 3 times and put it down every time. And Brent Weeks Night Angel was just a bit too cookie cutter when I tried!

More importantly what is missing!?

I'd say Wars of Light and Shadow by Janny Wurts could do with a nod among some others.

Am I the only one that afterwards tried to do more 'books lists'? :-[
Apparently I've read 30-odd of that BBC list hehe
