Visit, yes.  Live there? Not with *that* church around.

I don't know I never take  that much notice of the cities.

I agree that Sigil is unique through.

A more than 6 years necro! The master of the dead outdone himself now!

Sadly I think I'm ok with small places (a single castle, school, hideout, etc) but really feel I need the visuals when talking about cities, countries and those vast landscapes.
So mine go to other medias. Ravnica from Magic:The Gathering cardgame is definitely in the top. That Republican capital (Coruscant?) in Star Wars (flying cars!) and I guess Gondor from Lord of the Ring, based on what I saw in the movies.
Slow and steady wins the race.

Elantris is one of my favorites because the whole plot revolves around the city.

The city from City of Stairs is quite interesting.

The Nightside from Simon R. Green's Nightside series.

I'll probably think of more at some point.

That's Belgariad, I think.
Belgarium is Henry Dale's city, where Conan does stuff ;D

Spoiler for Hiden:

Speaking of, officials of the Brickish Empire were seen in the city lately. They say the Prime Empress has great plans for her nation that somehow involve buying all the rocket fuel...   ???

I can't think of the name, but the city where the Chromeria is. That place is awesome.

city of Stairs definitely.

And the city from Red Seas Under Red Skies. I loved all of that mechanical stuff.

Rocket fuel... is that what they use to make the tea?
